You may think that resurrection doesn’t make any sense at all. Yes, it is intriguing, but very hard to comprehend. The sophisticated people of today may very well have the same problem understanding resurrection that the people of Athens had in the first century when Paul shared the Gospel with them. (Acts 17:16-34)

While it may be hard to understand it, resurrection is the cornerstone of Christianity. Although we have a great amount of evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ, some people will find it extremely difficult to accept it really happened. That is because an essential element is missing. That element is faith. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

However, the great news is that Jesus rose from the dead and because of that, we have hope. It is no secret that our teenagers need to hear a message of hope. Those who have ears to hear will notice the groaning of the young generation. It is a groaning for redemption. Education, accomplishment and relationships may promise us the world, but they do not have the power to redeem. The answers our young people are looking for are in the living person of Christ. HE IS RISEN!
