Have you ever been fooled? When I was a child, my father would always pull pranks on my mother, my two sisters, and myself on April 1st. After he would start the ‘April’s Fools game” we would dive in and the whole day we would try to fool each other. It worked better earlier in the day. At the end of the day, no one would fall for any of the tricks anymore. The truth is none of us likes to be fooled; yet, we all have experienced it and we know very well how it feels to be fooled.

Sometimes Satan fools believers. Steven Curtis Chapman wrote a song entitled “Only Natural”. According to the lyrics of the song, the most foolish thing is to live as a prisoner when you have been set free.
“Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who’s the biggest fool of all
You don’t have to answer me
‘Cause when I look at you I see
A prisoner set free from his chains
Acting like he’s still a slave
To the prison he’s been set free from…”
